PGI Arkadia

PGI Arkadia (Arcadia) zone, established in 1996, lies in the heart of the Peloponnese, comprising the homonymous district. The vineyards of Arkadia are mostly found on the Mantinia plateau where, in 1971, the PDO Mantinia for white wine was established. In 2009, through a significant revision, the zone’s vine range was broadened, together with the range of wines that could be produced. At present, there are four area wineries producing PGI Arkadia wines.

Asproudes, Moschofilero, Roditis, Robola, Savvatiano, Gewürtztraminer, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Agiorgitiko, Kolliniatiko, Mavroudia, Skylopnichtis, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah.
